Your Mobile Banking PIN would already have been sent via SMS to you. To ensure its confidentiality we recommend that you:
Change your Mobile Banking PIN by sending CPIN to +919987123123. You would receive an automated call back from us requesting you to enter your current PIN and the New PIN. The PIN should be of four digits only.
Note: The Mobile Banking PIN is to be used only for Financial Transactions through your Mobile Phone. For Information services like Balance Enquiry, Mini statement, Cheque Book Request and Statement Request, you DO NOT require to use the Mobile Banking PIN
Keep the Mobile banking PIN different from your other PINs. Also, do not use easy-to guess numbers for the same, such as your date of birth, personal telephone number or sequential numbers such as 111111, 12356 etc
Never reveal your Mobile Banking PIN to anyone, including the staff of Standard Chartered Bank
Delete all Mobile Banking related SMS that you may have sent from your “Sent Messages” folder of your mobile phone. Delete any confidential SMS that you would have received from us from the “SMS Inbox” of your mobile phone.
