Your eStatement will reach you at the same frequency of your normal paper statement, giving you information on your banking activities faster and in a form that you can store and use electronically! As a registered user of the eStatement Facility, there are a few few important points that you need to keep in mind: - The eStatement will be delivered to the eMail address that you provided at the time of eStatement registration. Should this eMail Address change, we request you to please write in to our Customer Care Address given below with the updated address and the account numbers on which you have requested eStatements to be dispatched. We will effect the change in our systems within two working days after receipt of your written communication.
- If you are a Net Banking customer, then you could update this address when you are updating your personal details online too.
- The eStatement will be delivered via eMail bearing "Your Banking Account eStatement for the month of DD-MMM-YYYY" as the Subject.
- To help you understand which account the eStatement corresponds to, just the last 4 (four) of the 11 (eleven) digits of your account number will also be mentioned in the eMail.
- The eStatement will be an attachment in the eMail. For your security, this attachment is password protected. You will be prompted for a password when you try to open the attachment. The password is the entire 11 (eleven) digits of your account number for which the eStatement is being sent out.
- Even as we mask your address and partially mask your account number in the eStatement for your privacy and security, we request you to please safe-guard the integrity of your eMails and/or your eMail Storage space. Standard Chartered India does not accept liability for any un-authorised access to information contained in the eStatement being dispatched.
- In the case if our eMail carrying the eStatement to is not delivered due to incorrect eMail address we will de-register your eStatement Subscription.
- To open this secure encrypted file, please use Adobe Acrobat Reader version 8.0.0 or above. Please note that you may not be able to open/print your e-Statement with a lower version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the latest version Adobe Acrobat Reader from http://www.adobe.com
- We take utmost care while dispatching the eStatement and have taken adequate precautions in line with the best in industry to prevent viruses/rogue attachments in/from all our eMails including your eStatements. But eMails may suffer errors, viruses, delay, interception and amendment over the Internet. Standard Chartered India does not accept liability for any damage caused by any of our eStatements.
