July 2011 Download Stats Update - POTM - Top 25 - We're Hiring!

Hello! It's been a while, and it's good to see you. We've got a lot to tell you this month, so let's get to it! Download stats are now available, but we've temporarily suspended the sparklines while we tweak performance. More on that below.   1. phpMyAdmin: phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the Web. Currently it can create and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute any SQL statement, manage keys on fields.

  4. Arianne RPG: Arianne is a multiplayer online engine to develop turn based and real time games providing a simple way of creating the game server rules and clients like Stendhal. Our engine Marauroa uses Java and SQL for hosting hundreds of players on a solo host.
  5. Fink: Fink is an attempt to bring the full world of Unix OpenSource software to Darwin and Mac OS X. Packages are downloaded and built automatically and installed into a tree managed by dpkg, all with full dependency tracking.
  6. PortableApps.com: Portable Software/USB: PortableApps.com allows you to carry your favorite computer programs and all of your bookmarks, settings, email and more with you on a portable device (USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, CD, etc) and use them on any Windows computer.
  7. MediaInfo: Get technical information and tags of a lot of multimedia files. Supported formats : - Video : AVI/OGM/MKV/MPG/VOB/MP4/3GP/... - Audio : MP3/OGG/MKA/MP4/AAC/...
  8. JMRI Model Railroad Interface: Java interfaces and sample implementations for controlling a model railroad layout from a personal computer. JMRI is intended as a jumping-off point for hobbyists to build their own layout controls. Includes the DecoderPro and PanelPro applications.
  9. net-snmp: net-snmp provides tools and libraries relating to the Simple NetworkManagement Protocol including: An extensible agent, An SNMP library,tools to request or set information from SNMP agents, tools togenerate and handle SNMP traps, etc.
  10. ScummVM: ScummVM is a cross-platform interpreter for several point-and-click adventure engines. This includes all SCUMM-based adventures by LucasArts, Simon the Sorcerer 1&2 by AdventureSoft, Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword 1&2 by Revolution, and many more.
  11. Task Coach: Task Coach - Your friendly task manager. Task Coach is a simple open source todo manager to manage personal tasks and todo lists. Often, tasks and other things todo consist of several activities. Task Coach is designed to deal with composite tasks.

  23. KeePass Password Safe: KeePass Password Safe is a free, open source, light-weight and easy-to-use password manager for Windows. You can store your passwords in a highly-encrypted database, which is locked with one master password or key file.
  24. DVTk (DICOM, HL7, IHE): Test, validate and diagnose communication protocols in medical environments (DICOM, HL7 and IHE). DVTk is a must have for software developers, test engineers and service engineers that work in the healthcare domain. NEW. Services on www.dvtk.org!
  25. Scintilla: Scintilla is a free source code editing component which includes useful features such as syntax styling, error indicators, folding, code completion and call tips. The project includes SciTE (SCIntilla based Text Editor).
